Only president Kenyatta ha publicly sent his tributes to former Attorney General’s family upon his death.
President Kenyatta condoles the family describing him as a selfless leader.
Charles Mugane Njonjo is a Kenyan former lawyer who served as Attorney General of Kenya from 1963 to 1979, and Minister of Constitutional Affairs from 1980 to 1983. Njonjo was also popularly referred to as “The Duke of Kabeteshire”.
Njonjo died of pneumonia, Sunday morning at 5am according to reports.

Charles Njonjo’s remains were cremated at the Kariokor Hindu Crematorium on Sunday morning.
