A week ago, sensational social media urchin Maverick Aoko claimed that the octagenarian had died and that the family was hiding the news. This claim drew ire from prominent leaders, Oburu's family and a section of Jaramogi Oginga family lovers.
Oburu has been unwell owing to age and the rigorous political demand of being a party leader.
