Classic FM radio presenter Maina Kageni is hospitalized.
According to his co-host, Mwalimu King’ang’i, the presenter had been going to hospital for medical checkups before his hospitalization.
King’ang’i made the revelation during the breakfast show which he was hosting alongside Mike Mondo who has been sitting in for Kageni.
“I spoke to Maina and he is hospitalized. He is ailing from an ailment that has such a difficult English name. But he will be fine, it is a normal check
“I keep telling him to stop going for checkups randomly. I tell him to persevere for it’s not a must to get checked,” King’ang’i said.
In December 2021, Kageni announced plans to quit radio in 2022 to start his own business venture in the United States.
“Come next year, I am done. I will be retiring from this radio job. I plan on running a club in Miami,” Kageni stated.
He further revealed that he had already bought a house in the US which will be his starting point as he seeks to venture into his dream business.
“I will be living in my condor. I bought it some time back. I thought we talked about this?” Maina posed.
